At the age of 8, singer and recording artist Bárbara Ádyla began pursuing her passion for playing guitar and singing with her father and by age 15 was admitted to the prestigious Sao Paulo State Music School were she graduated with honors in guitar and voice. For her undergraduate work she studied with great Brazilian musicians like Nenê Trio, Sizão Machado and others. Throughout her career, she has performed on big stages, events and festivals. 

Bringing her expertise in Brazilan Bossa Nova to America, Barbara lives in the United States where she performs as a solo artist and leader of her band Project Bossa and teaches music to young people. 

PROJECT BOSSA is a New York City based Bossa Nova Jazz Band featuring Brazilian singer Bárbara Ádyla and some of NYC's finest musicians. Project Bossa plays a mix of Bossa Nova and Jazz Standards and Pop & Soul Classics - adding a Bossa Nova & Latin Jazz feel that will take your guests to the warm Rio breezes, beautiful Ipanema beaches, and vivacious spirit of Brazil. The band's musical performances match the elegance, sophistication & musicianship you'd expect from a NYC jazz unit.
